- Ablai Khan University held advanced training courses teaching staff of Shihezi University from People Republic of China
From December 15 to 24, 2024, advanced training courses for the teaching staff of Shihezi University (PRC) on the topic of "Regional Studies in Central Asia" were organized at Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages.
The course participants got acquainted with the theoretical foundations and practical aspects of the topic, listened to lectures by our leading professors - experts in the field of regional studies and international relations.

- Results of the Rector's Cup Futsal Tournament
On December 19-20, Ablai Khan University hosted the Rector's Cup Futsal Tournament, which was attended by the faculty, staff and students of the University.
It was a very interesting and exciting tournament among national teams, where each of them showed perseverance, desire to win and competitive spirit!

- Astana Motors and KazUIR&WL students
On December 20, 2024 at KazUIR&WL named after Abylai Khan was hosted a meeting of the university administration and the Department of Oriental Studies with representatives of Astana Motors Manufacturing Kazakhstan.
The meeting was attended by the head of the Department of Oriental Studies, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Yeserkepova Zhanar Ongarovna, and senior lecturer and responsible for employment Dzhanabekova Fariza Kuralbaevna, as well as 4th year students of the Department of Chinese, Japanese and Korean languages.

On December 18 and 19, 2024, on the basis of «Kazakh Ablai Khan UIR&WL» JSC, an expanded meeting of the EMA-PMG REMC in the areas of «Languages and Literature», «Teacher training in languages and literature» on the topic «On updating the Concept of development of foreign language education» was held with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Committee of Higher and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Dzharasova Gulzhan Sagidullayevna.

On December 12, 2024, an essay contest (백일장) will be held at the Faculty of Oriental Studies for 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students of the Korean department of all three educational programs: "Oriental Studies", "Foreign Philology", "Translation Studies", organized by Sookmyung University of the Republic of Korea and the Center for Korean Studies of KazUIR&WL named after Ablai Khan.

The 6th Week of Korean Studies will be held at Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages from November 28 to December 3, 2024. This year, 130 people from 6 countries are going to participate in the event, including students and teachers from 18 universities, as well as students of the Korean department of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Ablai Khan University.
